Ville Kärpinlehto has over 20 years of work experience in the IT industry. Ville is currently serving as the Head of IT End User Support Services at Nordcloud, an IBM Company since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Getronics for 8 years, starting in September 2013, where they held the position of Contact Centre Solutions Manager. In this role, they were responsible for managing the relationship between the Service Desk and the Corporate ICT Organization, ensuring business requirements were translated into technical solutions. Ville also supported and designed the Cisco telephony system and IVR scripts for the Service Desk environment.

Before joining Getronics, Ville worked at Nervogrid for a year as a Service Desk Team Manager. Ville'sresponsibilities included managing a Service Desk team in two physical locations, providing 1st and 2nd Level Cloud Service support. Ville was also responsible for local IT group, phone system configuration, maintenance, and design, acting as a contact point between the customers and the global production team.

Prior to Nervogrid, Ville had a long tenure at Getronics, where they held multiple roles. Ville started as a Technical Lead in February 2005, providing 1st and 2nd level support for Finnish customers and assisting Service Desk Analysts with incidents and requests. Ville then moved on to become a Team Leader, managing daily activities of multiple Service Desks. After that, they served as a Team Manager, responsible for managing three separate teams and about 100 employees. Lastly, they held the position of Service Solution Manager, managing the relationship between the Service Desk and the Corporate ICT Organization, as well as managing all aspects of the local IT Department.

Earlier in their career, Ville worked at General Electric as an Onsite Technician/Team Leader, providing technical solutions and ensuring SLA compliance. Ville also worked at Deio Oy as an IT Support Specialist, where they administered the company's network, servers, and computers and provided support for approximately 40 users. Ville started their career at Berling Capital as a System Administrator, responsible for the administration of company servers and computers, as well as providing support for around 30 users.

Ville has a diverse range of experience in various IT roles and has worked with multiple companies, gaining expertise in areas such as service desk management, telephony system support and design, cloud service support, and technical support.

From 1993 to 1997, Ville Kärpinlehto attended Tampereen Aikuislukio and completed their upper secondary school education.
