Mayss Shehawi

Mayss Shehawi is an experienced television editor and reporter at Norddeutscher Rundfunk since August 2019. Mayss held the position of social media journalist at funk - Content-Netzwerk von ARD und ZDF from June to August 2023 and served as a social media manager at Goethe-Institut e.V. earlier in 2023. Mayss has a background in journalism and photography, having worked as a war correspondent for Hawa Smart and as a freelance journalist and photographer focusing on war documentation. Mayss's educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Media and Journalism from Damascus University, an online program in Business/Managerial Economics from kiron Open Higher Education for refugees, and a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Jami't Al-Ba'ath.
