Erik Sand

Erik Sand is the current Managing Director at Nordea. Erik has held this position since July of 2017. Prior to this, they were the Head of Business Development at Protector Forsikring ASA from August 2016 to July 2017.

Erik has extensive experience in the financial industry. Erik worked as a corporate finance at Carnegie Investment Bank from August 2004 to September 2012. Erik then moved to Nordea Markets and worked in investment banking from October 2012 to August 2016. Before that, they were the Director of Corporate Finance at Nordea Securities from October 2001 to June 2004.

Erik started their career in 1994 as a trainee at Det Norske Veritas. Erik then worked as a corporate finance at Enskilda Securities from January 1994 to December 2000. Erik later became a partner at Whitecliff from June 2000 to October 2001.

Erik Sand completed a degree in economics at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH).

They are on a team with Tom Martin Lorentzen - Analyst, Thomas Bernhard Hvitstein - Analyst, and Sindre Hegsethtrø - Associate. Erik Sand reports to Ingar Nissen-Meyer, Head of Advisory & ECM Norway.
