Iain Nicolson

Iain Nicolson has extensive experience in technical roles, currently serving as Senior Lead Technician and formerly Lead Wind Turbine Technician at Nordex Group since August 2012, specializing in fault finding and repair on electrical and hydraulic systems. Prior experience includes a position as Aircraft Engineer at Vector Aerospace from August 2007 to August 2012, where involvement in the S-92 gearbox retrofit program and global customer site visits were highlighted. Earlier in the career, Iain worked as an AutoCad Technician at David Reid Civil Engineering from May 2006 to August 2007. Educational qualifications include an HNC in Systems Engineering from the University of the Highlands and Islands, obtained from 2007 to 2009, and attendance at Alva Academy from 1994 to 2000.
