Mahesh Mony

Mahesh Mony currently serves as the Head of Department for Electrical Engineering at the Nordex Group since February 2021. Prior to this role, Mahesh accumulated extensive experience at Suzlon Energy Ltd. from August 2003 to February 2021, progressing through various positions including Assistant General Manager, Senior Manager, and Manager, focusing on alternative product development and wind turbine electrical component management. Earlier career roles included serving as Assistant Manager for Wind Turbine Production and Engineering Support and Senior Engineer, with responsibilities in electrical assembly and testing. Mahesh began the professional journey at Wescare India Pvt Limited as Service Incharge, providing servicing and commissioning experience for various turbine models, and initiated an apprenticeship at ISRO, gaining foundational training in crane and lift servicing. Mahesh holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science and a diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Govt. Polytechnic, Nagercoil.
