Rafael Palmero Palos

Rafael Palmero Palos is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as Head of Construction for South Africa and India at Nordex Group since November 2018, after holding the position of Operations Project Manager. Prior to this role, Rafael worked at Siemens Gamesa from August 2010 to November 2018, contributing as a Mechanical Engineer in support of multifleet technologies and resolving mechanical issues for Gamesa G5x - G8x platforms. Earlier experience includes serving as an Electrical Engineer at Ineco98, where significant contributions were made to the electrical calculations for the nationally relevant Aragonia complex in Zaragoza. Rafael's career commenced with FCC Construcción as a Works Installation Engineer, responsible for the execution of installations on major projects. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Thermoelectric Generation and Zero Emissions Technologies, a Postgraduate degree in Pipe Engineering, and an Industrial Engineering degree from Universidad de Zaragoza, complemented by an Erasmus experience at Luleå University of Technology.
