Xabier Loperena

Xabier Loperena serves as the Global Head of Service Parts Procurement at Nordex Group since May 2023, focusing on the global availability of spare parts for the growing fleet of wind turbines. Prior to this role, significant experience was gained at Siemens Gamesa from October 2005 to July 2023, culminating in the position of Global Operations Nacelles Planning Head, where responsibilities included managing a worldwide network of suppliers and balancing demand and capacity. Other key roles at Siemens Gamesa included leadership in operational planning and production control. Xabier Loperena holds a PDG from IESE Business School, along with degrees in IT and Lean Manufacturing from Universidad Pública de Navarra and Tecnológico de Monterrey, respectively, and a Master of Engineering in Industrial Organization from Universidad Pública de Navarra.
