Vernon Ludick

Vernon Ludick is a seasoned maintenance planner and engineering professional with extensive experience in the mining and manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Maintenance Planner for Nordgold since December 2019, Vernon has been instrumental in establishing a Condition Monitoring section to enhance preventive and predictive maintenance strategies across the Bissa and Bouly plants. Previous roles include Maintenance Analysis and Improvement Specialist at SOUTH32 SA Manganese Holdings, Engineering Planner at Kimberley Ekapa Mining, and Maintenance Analysis Team Lead at Vetasi Limited, among others. Throughout these positions, Vernon has developed maintenance strategies, improved work management processes, coached teams, and actively promoted continuous improvement initiatives. Education includes a degree in Mechanical Engineering from RC Elliott Tech and a Matric from Floors Senior Secondary School.
