Elna Follin

Elna Follin has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries.

Elna is currently working as a Sales & Product Manager Transfusion at Nordic Biolabs AB since September 2021.

Prior to that, they worked at VWR, part of Avantor, as a Product Specialist Life Science from January 2016 to September 2021.

Elna also served as a Board Member at Studiefrämjandet Skåne och Blekinge, a regional mass education organization, focusing on educating people in the fields of nature and culture. Their role there lasted from 2012 to the present.

Elna's work also includes being a PhD student at Lund University where their research focused on the antigen presenting molecule MHC class I. Elna studied its characteristics and potential ways to modulate its function from January 2010 to August 2015.

Their earlier work experience includes being a Hosteller at STF Vandrarhem Tåget from June 2000 to August 2010. Elna was responsible for various tasks such as reception work, bookings, check-ins, administration, breakfast buffet, and daily cleaning and maintenance of the hostel.

Elna Follin completed their high school education at Spyken from 2001 to 2004, focusing on natural sciences. Elna then pursued their Bachelor's degree at Lund University, graduating in 2008 with a Master of Science (MSc) in Biology/Biological Sciences, General. Elna continued their education at Lund University, where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Immunology from 2010 to 2014.
