Joel Englund

Joined in August 2021. Joel was the Head of Legal at Kognity, an EdTech start-up and digital publisher, from 2019 to 2021. Prior, he worked at Spotify as in-house counsel from 2017 to 2019. Before joining Spotify, Joel was a Senior Associate at law firm Mannheimer Swartling from 2010 to 2016, where he worked primarily in the M&A and Transaction Structuring practice groups, specialising in technology companies. He also did a secondment to US law firm Goodwin Procter’s Silicon Valley office as a corporate associate from 2015 to 2016. Joel holds a Master of Laws from Uppsala University.
