Sveinung Hole

Sveinung Hole is a seasoned investor and managing partner at Sarsia, an early-stage venture capital firm focused on Life Sciences, Sustainability, Ocean, Energy, and Technology since September 2006. As chairman of Sarsia Seed Fund II AS and board member for Sarsia Seed AS, Hole has facilitated investments in Norwegian technology-based companies. Additional board roles include positions at Calluna Pharma AS, Pluvia AS, Prophylix AS, Kreftforeningen, and the University of Bergen's Medical Faculty. Hole is also an advisory board member at NEO Consulting AS and a mentor within the Nordic Mentor Network for Entrepreneurship. Previous leadership includes a tenure as CEO of the Trond Mohn Foundation and board member roles at BerGenBio ASA, Icon Capital AS, and Tromsø Research Foundation. Sveinung Hole holds a Master's degree in International Business/Management from BI Norwegian Business School and has completed further education at INSEAD.
