Bjørn Åge Brandal

Bob Brandal has extensive work experience in sales, marketing, and product management roles in the semiconductor industry. Bjørn Åge ("Bob") has held positions at various companies, including Nordic Semiconductor ASA, where they served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing in the Asia Pacific region. Prior to that, they worked as a Sales Manager in the same region for the company. Bob also had leadership roles at XeThru by Novelda and Microchip Technology Inc., where they were responsible for sales and marketing activities in Asia. Additionally, they held managerial positions at Atmel Corporation, where they oversaw MCU product marketing and business development in the APAC and Japan regions. Bob also has experience in project management, technical leadership, and hardware and software design. Bjørn Åge ("Bob") began their career at Atmel Norway as a Design Engineer, specializing in emulator solutions for AVR microcontrollers. Bob has a proven track record of achieving significant growth, establishing regional networks, and successfully launching products in the market.

Bob Brandal received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics with a focus on Micro electronics from Sør-Trøndelag University College (HiST) from 1996 to 1999. Bjørn Åge ("Bob") later pursued a Master of Science degree in Circuit and System Construction (Micro electronics) from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) between 2003 and 2005.
