Lydia North is an experienced mechanical engineer with a diverse background in various engineering roles. Currently serving as an Associate Engineer in Production Irradiators at Nordion since January 2023, Lydia previously held the position of Senior Mechanical Engineer at Mechatronic Design Solutions. Prior experience includes work as a Mechanical Designer focusing on additive manufacturing at InnoTech Alberta, and as a Mechanical Engineer-in-Training at Chadwick Engineering Ltd., providing consultancy for the manufacturing industry. Lydia has a strong foundation in academic research and teaching, with roles at Queen's University and Dalhousie University, and has practical experience from various engineering co-op placements. Lydia holds a Master of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from Queen's University and a Bachelor of Engineering from Dalhousie University.
