Christopher Håkonsson

Christopher Håkonsson is the current Head of Strategy at Nordisk Film. Christopher has held this position since December 2020. Prior to this, they were the Chief Executive Officer of North Esports from September 2019 to December 2020. North is a global esport organisation owned by Egmont/Nordisk Film and FC Copenhagen. Christopher was also the Senior Strategy Manager at Egmont from March 2018 to September 2019, where they were responsible for advising Egmont’s CXOs and senior management in strategic decisions, as well as driving strategic projects and managing project teams across Egmont’s broad portfolio of companies.

Before their time at Egmont, Christopher was an Engagement Manager / Associate / Consultant at McKinsey & Company from September 2014 to March 2018. Christopher also worked as an Assistant Equity Analyst at Nordea Markets from June 2012 to April 2014, and as a Market Analyst at Phase One A/S from August 2009 to June 2012.

Christopher Håkonsson has a Master of finance and management from Università Bocconi, a Master of Science (MSc) in finance and strategic management from Copenhagen Business School, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in economics and business administration from Copenhagen Business School. Christopher also has a degree in finance and economics from Boston College Carroll School of Management.

Christopher Håkonsson reports to Allan Mathson Hansen, CEO. They are on a team with Katrine Vogelsang - CEO, Nordisk Film Production, Mikkel Weider - CEO, Nordisk Games, and Henrik Ravn - CEO, GoGift.com A/S.
