Suman Rath

Suman Rath is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the interactive entertainment and technology sectors. Currently serving as Founder and Chairman of the Board at Makea Games since February 2022, Suman is also a Board Member and Co-Director of Nordic VR Startups, focused on enhancing the Nordic VR/AR ecosystem. Additionally, since August 2005, Suman has held various senior roles at Nordisk Film, including Senior Vice President, overseeing the PlayStation business in the Nordics and Baltics, as well as spearheading growth initiatives in VR. Prior roles at Nordisk Film encompass Director, Nordic Sales & Marketing Director, Commercial Director, and Marketing Manager for PlayStation, building a strong foundation in sales, marketing, and digital business strategies. Earlier career experience includes a role as Retail Marketing Coordinator at Nike. Suman holds an M.B.A. in Finance from Hanken School of Economics and a BBA from Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences.
