Amanda Bishop has a diverse range of work experience. Amanda began their career in 2016 as a Cafe Worker at Portens Bageri AB, where they worked until 2020. In 2020, they joined Key Solutions AB as a Salesperson. Amanda then moved on to JOS hälso café in 2021, starting as a Cafe Worker and later becoming the Site Manager, responsible for managing staff, purchasing, social media, and leadership.
Continuing their career in retail, in 2022, Amanda joined J.Lindeberg as a Retail Sales Associate, specializing in fashion at Nordiska Kompaniet in Göteborg. Here, they also took on the role of Assistant Store Manager and Visual Merchandiser responsible for store management and visual merchandising until 2023. Currently, Amanda works as a Retail Sales Associate at NK Retail AB, starting in February 2023.
Amanda Bishop completed their Gymnasieexamen in Samhällsvetenskap from Hvitfeldtska gymnasiet between 2017 and 2020. Following that, they pursued a Magisterexamen in Civilekonom from the University of Borås, starting in 2022 and expected to finish in 2026.

The stores at NK are operated by freestanding companies under department store like forms. All departments have separate leasing agreements with AB Nordiska Kompaniet. In total approx. 100 companies run 110 NK departments in Stockholm and 50 departments in Gothenburg. Nordiska Kompaniet bought Departments & Stores Europe AB, founded in 2005, in February of 2021. In the acquisition Departments & Stores became NK Retail AB.
