In total approx. 100 companies run 110 NK departments in Stockholm and 50 departments in Gothenburg. Nordiska Kompaniet bought Departments & Stores Europe AB, founded in 2005, in February of 2021. In the acquisition Departments & Stores became NK Retail AB.
