Sara Ellenius

Sara Ellenius possesses extensive experience in collections care and conservation, with a career spanning several decades. Currently serving as Senior Adviser and Project Manager for Collections Care at Stiftelsen Nordiska museet since December 2001, Sara has held various leadership roles within the institution, including Head of Section in both the Departments of Preservation & Security and Collections, as well as Project Manager and Painting/Paper Conservator. Prior to this, Sara operated S.E. Målerikonservering as Conservator and Owner from January 1996 to June 2008 and worked as a Painting Conservator at Stiftelsen Nordiska museet from June 1994 to April 1998. Educational background includes studies at the University of Gothenburg, Uppsala University, and Umeå University.
