Minna-Riitta Nummelin has a diverse and extensive work experience in various finance and leadership roles. Minna-Riitta began their career at Partek Group as an Assistant Controller from June 1995 to June 1997. Minna-Riitta then served as an Accounting Manager at Loglift Oy, where they were responsible for accounting, group reporting, and implementing the Baan ERP-system. Minna-Riitta joined Nordkalk Corporation in 1998 and held various positions throughout their tenure. Notably, they served as Group Controller, leading the development of accounting systems and implementing a global operative management accounting system. Minna-Riitta also worked as a Senior Business Controller and Division Controller within the company. Minna-Riitta'sresponsibilities included management accounting, budgeting, strategy processes, and division-level reporting. In their recent roles at Nordkalk Corporation, they worked as a Finance Director for Scandinavia and Nordkalk AB, leading a team of finance professionals and focusing on continuous improvement and the implementation of IFRS reporting. Minna-Riitta also served as Director of Operational Excellence & Finance, leading continuous improvement programs and overseeing treasury management, IFRS, and taxes. Minna-Riitta Nummelin completed their education at different institutions and in various fields. Minna-Riitta obtained a Ms Sc degree in Economics from Åbo Akademi University from 1988 to 1994. In 2018, they pursued Futures Studies, earning 25 credits from the Turku School of Economics at the University of Turku. Additionally, they completed a Diploma in Project Management in 2018 from Aalto University Executive Education and Professional Development. In 2020, they obtained a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt from Nordkalk Corporation. Nummelin also engaged in further educational programs, including completing the Leader's Path from Trainers' House in 2010, the EkonomiEsimies program from SEFE ry in 2005, and the Controllers Program 7 from Lifim in 2000. Furthermore, they undertook a 25-credit program in Educational Sciences at the University of Turku in 2020-2021.
