Helgi Hermannsson

Helgi Hermannsson is an accomplished entrepreneur and business leader with extensive experience in technology and media sectors. As the CEO and Founder of Nordurver since April 2018, Helgi focuses on early-stage venture capital, supporting passionate founders. Prior to this, Helgi held the position of Senior Director at Toast, where valuable insights into corporate culture were gained. Helgi founded Sling, a workforce management tools company acquired by Toast, and co-founded Inch, facilitating team alignment for distributed workforces. Previous roles include CEO and Co-founder at Gangverk, Partner at Videntifier, and CEO at Locals Recommend. Helgi also contributed to media development as VP of Corporate Development at Dagsbrun Media and Head of Business Development at 365 Media. Helgi began a career in broadcasting as Head of Programming and Marketing at Skjarinn ehf. Helgi holds a BS in Business from FIT, completed in 1996.
