Dana Phelps

Dana Phelps is a history and Latin teacher at Norfolk Academy, beginning in August 2023. Previous experience includes roles as a qualitative researcher at Meta and as an associate director of design research at T3. Notably, at Aeroflow Healthcare, Dana established the first UX research practice, leading research across multiple diverse business units. Dana's earlier positions include senior design researcher at Wondros, where end-to-end UX research was conducted, and UX researcher at Facebook, focusing on qualitative research for Messenger Business. Academic accomplishments include a Ph.D. in Anthropology from Stanford University, where Dana executed a multi-year ethnography and published peer-reviewed work. Additional educational credentials include a Master of Arts and a Master’s degree in Cultural Heritage Studies.
