Robert McCarthy

Robert McCarthy is an experienced law enforcement professional with a career spanning several decades. Currently serving as a Deputy Sheriff at the Norfolk County, MA Sheriff's Office since 2022, Robert previously held the position of Police Officer at Boston University from 2010 to 2024, where specialized training included Sexual Assault Investigator School and Emergency Medical Technician certification. Robert's extensive background with the Massachusetts State Police from 1982 to 2010 included roles as Sergeant in the K9 Unit and Patrol Supervisor. Additionally, Robert served a brief tenure as a Police Officer with the Boston Municipal Police in 1982.
