Sheriff Patrick McDermott

Sheriff Patrick McDermott serves as Vice President of the Massachusetts Sheriffs Association and has held the position of Sheriff at the Norfolk County, MA Sheriff's Office since January 2021. McDermott is the President and CEO of McDermott Strategic Enterprises LLC, a real estate investment firm specializing in distressed properties and affordable housing solutions. A dedicated public servant, McDermott has been a State Committeeman for the MA Democratic State Committee, contributes to local governance as a former Register of Probate/Clerk Magistrate, and has held leadership roles in the Massachusetts Association of Registers of Probate and the Bar Association of Norfolk County.
