Joe MacArthur, PMP, currently serves as the Assistant Manager of PMO Application Development at Norfolk Southern Corporation, where responsibilities include leading a project management team and promoting agile methodologies. Previously, Joe worked as a Project Manager/Scrum Master at DIVERSANT, LLC, and held various leadership roles at Verizon Wireless, including Associate Director and Senior Manager, overseeing a team focused on new product development. Joe's extensive experience in project management and technology spans over two decades, during which positions were also held at Alltel Wireless in areas such as team leadership and risk management. Joe MacArthur holds a B.B.A. in International Business and Finance from the University of Georgia and possesses several technical certifications, including PMP and SAFe Agilist, with proficiencies in multiple project management tools and programming languages.
