Steinar Årdal

Steinar Årdal is an experienced director currently responsible for the operation and development of Norges Bank's settlement system and managing banks' collateral for loans. With a strong background in enterprise architecture, Steinar has led IT transformation initiatives in various organizations, including a five-year program at Norges Bank focused on modernizing IT platforms and utilizing cloud services. Previous roles include Lead Architect at Posten Norge, where Steinar oversaw IT architecture for the mail and logistics sector; Operation Architect at NAV IKT, focusing on private cloud services; and Principal at Capgemini, managing a team of architects. Steinar holds an MSc in Engineering Cybernetics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and an MSc in Control Engineering from UC Santa Barbara.
