Dr. Maan Singh Sidhu

Dr. Maan Singh Sidhu is a highly experienced professional specializing in research, innovation, and higher education with a focus on food safety and bioeconomy. Currently serving as a Special Advisor at Norges forskningsråd, Dr. Sidhu acts as a National Contact Point for Horizon Europe within Cluster 6 and engages in various European partnerships. Prior roles include Counsellor for Science, Technology, and Higher Education at the Norwegian Embassy in New Delhi and Special Advisor at Innovation Norway, where Dr. Sidhu emphasized research collaboration between Norway and India. With over 23 years of experience spanning various organizations, Dr. Sidhu has managed numerous projects in food safety and R&D while holding a Ph.D. in Microbiology from NMBU-Norwegian University of Life Sciences and additional degrees in microbiology and medical sciences.
