MacHiel Wierdsma

Machiel Wierdsma is an accomplished procurement professional with extensive experience in global indirect and direct procurement, currently serving as the Director of Global Indirect Procurement & Center of Excellence at Norgine since September 2008. Wierdsma has led strategic initiatives, optimized procurement processes, and developed teams while managing supplier relationships and ensuring compliance. Previous roles include Director of Procurement, Interim Head of Indirect Procurement, and Senior Global Category Manager, among others. Before joining Norgine, Wierdsma held key positions at ratiopharm and the IDA HIV/AIDS Group, focusing on purchasing strategies, savings delivery, and supplier management.
