Dag-Are Døving-Mathisen has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. In 2001, they started their career as an IT Manager at Newswire. Dag-Are then worked as a Technical Officer at Momentum MCP from 2005 to 2007. After that, they joined Microsoft as a Technical Advisor, where they stayed until 2011. From 2011 to 2016, they worked at Avanade as the Service Line Lead for Infrastructure Services. Dag-Are then moved to Avan AS, where they served as an Infrastructure Architect until 2017.
In 2017, Dag-Are joined Yara International as an Infrastructure Architect, and they worked there until 2019. In the same year, they began their own venture as the Owner of Megram AS.

Currently, Dag-Are Døving-Mathisen is working as the Project Director at Noria, a position they have held since 2023. Additionally, they have been a Board Member at Orgservice AS since 2013.
Dag-Are Døving-Mathisen obtained a Bachelor's degree in Sociology with a focus on Organizational Sociology from the University of Oslo (UiO) between the years 2002 and 2004.
