Eirik Flaten

Eirik Flaten has extensive experience in the IT industry, particularly in the development of systems for sales and service of cars. Eirik has held various roles as a Senior System Consultant, Technical Team Leader, and Project Manager at Harald A. Møller AS, starting in 2001 and continuing until their current position. In these roles, they were responsible for developing full-stack IT systems that catered to nearly 4000 users across Norway, Sweden, and the Baltics. These solutions were built using Java and web clients on the server side, with CTG integration for Cobol and REST APIs for databases like DB2, Postgres, and SQL Server.

Prior to joining Harald A. Møller AS, Eirik briefly worked as a Technical Account Manager at Siebel Systems in 2001. However, they decided to pursue a different opportunity due to the extensive travel involved.

Before that, Eirik worked at Hands ASA from 1999 to 2001, where they held the role of Chief Consultant and Department Manager. Here, they worked on system development projects utilizing AS/400 and Visual Basic with Oracle databases, specifically for the magazine industry in close collaboration with major media companies in Norway.

Eirik's career in the IT industry started at Infosoft in 1993, where they held various consultant positions. Eirik worked on multiple system development projects involving AS/400 and Visual Basic with Oracle databases, primarily focusing on the magazine industry and maintaining close relationships with prominent Norwegian media companies. Eirik eventually became a Senior Consultant and Department Manager before leaving in 1999.

Currently, Eirik Flaten is working as a Senior Consultant at Noria since 2022.

Eirik Flaten has a diverse education history. Eirik attended BI Norwegian Business School from 2006 to 2007, where they obtained a degree in Prosjektledelse (Project Management). Before that, from 1992 to 1993, they studied Informasjonsteknologi (Information Technology) as a Diplomkandidat at NKI Datahøgskolen. In 1991, they completed the Heimevernets Sersjantkurs and received a Sersjant (Sergeant) certification for their Befalsutdanning i forsvaret (Leadership training in the defense force). Earlier, from 1989 to 1991, they also studied Informasjonsteknologi at NKI Datahøgskolen.

In addition to their formal education, Eirik Flaten has obtained various certifications.
