Charlie O'Ryan

Charlie O'Ryan has a diverse work experience starting in 2010. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as a Procurement/CO-OP at Meijer - Corporate HQ, where they implemented an Asset Management system and reduced SKU for food-related packaging materials. In 2011, they moved on to work as a Materials Analyst/CO-OP at MANN+HUMMEL Group, focusing on increasing efficiency and implementing JIT and Kanban methods. Later in 2011, they joined Strategic Manufacturing Solutions Inc. as a Supply Chain Management, managing virtual 3D designing efforts and increasing manufacturing efficiency. In 2012, they joined StrikoWestofen America as Director of Operations, overseeing projects and ensuring customer requirements were met. From 2017 to 2020, they worked at Norican Group in two different roles. Charlie served as the Director of Regional Product Group - Aluminum and then transitioned to the role of Director of StrikoWestofen Sales - North America.

Charlie O'Ryan attended Western Michigan University - Haworth College of Business from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Integrated Supply Chain Management. Charlie also pursued a minor in General Business during their time there. In 2010, Charlie studied International Negotiations at Freie Universität Berlin for a brief period. In 2019, they enrolled in the Manning School of Business at UMass Lowell, where they are currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.

In terms of additional certifications, Charlie obtained the NFPA 70E / Arc Flash certification from NFPA in March 2016. Charlie also holds a LEED Green Associate certification from the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI), which they obtained in November 2013. Additionally, Charlie is a Six-Sigma Green Belt certified by the Institute of Industrial Engineers, with the certification obtained in April 2011.
