Dawn Brenamen

Dawn Brenamen has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Dawn began their career as a Registered Nurse at Dakota Heartland Health System in 1995, where they worked until 1998. Dawn then joined Dakota Heartland Hospital as a Clinical Informatics Specialist, playing a critical role in implementing the MEDITECH healthcare information system. In 2001, they transitioned to MeritCare Health System, where they served as the Learning Technology Coordinator and later as the HRIS Manager, leading the start-up of the HRIS function and overseeing the SAP ERP implementation. In 2010, they joined Sanford Health as the Enterprise Director of HR Technology/Information Systems, where they were responsible for HRIS and HR technology, including the implementation of the Infor Lawson Global HR and Talent Management application suite. Since 2015, Dawn has been working at Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota in various roles, including Manager of Health Informatics, Business Transformation Lead, Director of Data Integration, Director of Enterprise Data & Analytic Solutions, and currently as the Director of Healthcare Insights.

Dawn Brenamen obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Nursing from North Dakota State University, which they completed between 1992 and 1995. Dawn also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration from the same institution, which they obtained between 2008 and 2011. In addition to their degrees, they obtained a certification as a Registered Nurse from the Board of Nursing in July 1995.
