Jan Erik Domaas

Jan Erik Domaas has a diverse work experience history. Jan Erik started their career in 1998 with a summer job at Stensaas Reinsdyrslakteri AS and later worked as a store employee at Christiania Belysning AS. In 2001, they worked as an newspaper delivery person at Adresseavisen.

Domaas then entered the military, serving as a troop leader in Panserbataljonen from 2003 to 2004. Jan Erik gained leadership skills and experience in planning, team collaboration, and personal and physical testing.

From 2007 to 2012, Domaas worked as an intelligence officer for ISAF and Forsvarets Spesialkommando - FSK, where they were responsible for collecting, organizing, and analyzing geographical data. Jan Erik provided operational support, conducted presentations, and developed the field of expertise.

In 2012, Domaas started their own business as a sole proprietor at Enkel 3D. Jan Erik specialized in creating simple 3D models and visualizations for conceptual ideas. Jan Erik also made the models accessible for public use on websites.

Jan Erik subsequently worked at TerraTec AS, first as a project leader in Trondheim from 2014 to 2016, and then as the department manager for TerraTec's Trondheim office from 2016 to 2018. Jan Erik oversaw the growth of the company into one of Trondheim's leading land surveying offices and managed a wide range of surveying services.

Currently, Domaas is working as a business developer at NORKART AS since December 2018.

Jan Erik Domaas has a diverse educational background in various fields of study. In 1999, they completed their general education at Trondheim katedralskole, earning a degree in "Generell studiekompetanse" with a focus on "Allmennfag med realfag". Following this, in 2002, they attended Befalsskolen for Hærens Logistikkvåpen and obtained the rank of "Sersjant" with a specialization in "Transportation and Materials Moving". In 2003, they enrolled at Hedmark University College (HH) where they pursued a one-year program, earning an "Årsstudium" in "Ledelse og organisasjon". Jan Erik then attended the Norwegian Military Academy from 2004 to 2007, earning a Bachelor's degree in "Geomatikk, bygg og anlegg". Continuing their military education, they attended the Military Engineering Centre of Excellence in 2006, focusing on "Military engineer platoon leader". In 2008, they graduated from the Military school of intelligence as an "Intelligence officer" with a specialization in "Military Intelligence, General", and in 2009, they completed a program in "Imagery Analysis" at the same school. In 2011, they attended the Vigilance ISR Academy for a brief period, specializing in "Imagery analysis".
