Tommy Haugen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Tommy started their career as a Kundekonsulent at Telenor in 1995 and later worked as an IT-konsulent in Sel Kommune in 1999. In 2000, they joined Customax ASA as a Systemkonsulent, where they contributed to the development and design of the CRM system MarketScope. From 2001 to 2008, Tommy worked at Geoservice A/S as a Systemutvikler and later as a Produktansvarlig VA.

In 2008, they joined NORKART AS, where they held various positions. Tommy started as a Leder kundestøtte, responsible for establishing and managing the KOMTEK customer support team. From 2016 to 2020, Tommy served as a Markeds- og produktsjef, leading the marketing and product department at KOMTEK. In this role, they were responsible for developing and managing marketing strategies, portfolio management, and sales follow-up. Tommy also handled the prioritization of market needs for the development teams.

Tommy's most recent role at NORKART AS is as a Produktsjef, a position they have held since 2020. Currently, they work as a Product Marketing Manager, responsible for marketing the company's products.

Tommy Haugen's education history begins with their time at Vinstra videregående skole, where they completed their Artium degree in allmennefag / EDB from 1991 to 1994. Afterward, they pursued Enkeltemner in Dataingeniør at Høgskolen i Gjøvik (HiG) from 1994 to 1995. Tommy then continued their education at Høgskolen i Hedmark (HH) / Hedmark University College, where they obtained a Høgskolekandidat degree in Informatikk from 1998 to 2000.

In addition to their formal education, Tommy Haugen has also earned the ITIL Foundation certification in IT Service management from EXIN in March 2012.
