Oliver Hvidt has a long and varied work experience. In 2012, they began working as a student worker at Infomedia A/S, where their role in the editorial department was mainly to sort news articles according to the specifications of a range of customers. In 2014, they co-founded Leapkit, which enables companies to become integrated into school projects in higher education. That same year, they also co-founded Norlase, a fast-growing high-tech company, developing and manufacturing novel medical lasers. In 2016, they became a Member of the Advisory Board for Global Lighting Standard. In 2017, they became an Open Entrepreneur for Open Entrepreneurship DK. In 2018 and 2019, they were based in San Francisco, CA, as President of Norlase Inc. During their tenure as CEO of Norlase, the company achieved a number of important milestones, including annual sales growth of over 150%, the FDA and CE approval of their first medical laser, the LEAF, and the FDA and CE approval of their second medical device, the LION. In 2022, they became a Board Observer for TracInnovations and an Angel Investor for Melatech.
Oliver Hvidt began their education in 2007, when they attended Allerød Gymnasium as a student studying Mathematics and Social Studies. From 2010 to 2013, they attended Copenhagen Business School, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Economics & Business Administration. Oliver then returned to Copenhagen Business School, where they earned a Master of Science (MSc) in Economics & Business Administration with a focus in Strategic Market Creation, and was also named valedictorian.
