Stephen works at the Executive Board level for FTSE 100 and 250 companies and a range of mid-cap businesses, both publicly and privately owned. As a leadership advisory specialist, his role is to provide independent assurance that the client’s talent risk decisions are made effectively and to provide an unbiased and objective view. He combines the rigor, quality, clarity, and structure of his big-business experience with the closer, attentive relationships found in a smaller consultancy. Lately, he has been focusing on top-team risks, post-deal PE due diligence, and succession planning as well as refreshing executive board competencies, benchmarking executive developmental potential, and delivering 360-degree feedback. Stephen’s recent corporate and consulting career has included the delivery of large-scale restructuring and changes management consulting projects in FMCG, supporting talent management projects, and implementing risk assurance programs.
Stephen is a Chartered Psychologist and his early career was as a Senior Manager in risk consulting for PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and as a Director of a talent management consultancy business.
