Jay Yi is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategy and financial analysis within technology and innovation sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Strategist at Normative since February 2021, Jay previously held positions at eResearch as an Equity Research Associate focusing on technology and at MLG Blockchain Consulting as a Corporate Development Analyst, where Jay was instrumental in developing pitch decks and educational modules for Fortune 500 clients. Earlier experience includes a corporate credit risk analyst role at RBC Capital Markets and a financial analyst position at Foresters Financial, with additional analytical work in local government and as a strategy consultant for Rakuten Kobo Inc. Jay holds an MBA in Finance and Strategic Business Valuation from McMaster University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Kinesiology from the University of Guelph.
