Matthew Insell

Matthew Insell is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in cybersecurity and cloud technologies. Currently serving as a Technical Consultant at NormCyber since January 2024, Matthew focuses on enhancing customers' security postures through Microsoft Security products. Previously, as a Cloud Engineer at Ekco from May 2022 to December 2023, Matthew specialized in Microsoft 365 and Azure, particularly in Endpoint, Identity, and Security management. Matthew also worked at Alert Logic as an Associate Implementation Engineer, assisting in the deployment of Cloud Managed Detection and Response solutions. A long tenure at Geldards LLP, spanning from December 2001 to December 2021, involved various roles including IT Operations Technical Lead, where responsibilities included designing the firm's IT infrastructure and security strategies, as well as managing the Service Desk. Matthew holds an MSc in Applied Environmental Geology from Cardiff University and a BSc in Geology from the University of Leicester.
