Peter Dubin

Chair & VP, Restaurants, North America at NORR

Peter is an advocate of architecture as a solution where design enhances the places we live, work and play. He brings a wide array of experience and guidance to this work, over a 30-year career. As a leader in multiple market sectors at NORR, leading project teams across Hospitality, Restaurant and Commercial, he is committed to design excellence as a means to enrich and enhance people’s lives.

Peter holds a graduate degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an undergraduate degree from Rhode Island School of Design. He is a registered architect in 43 states, as well as a registered interior designer, which demonstrates his conviction that skills integration is essential to better design. He has taught architectural design and theory at the college level and remains committed to mentoring those he works with. Peter works collaboratively with clients and with other market sectors at NORR to achieve design excellence. And, he thrives on problem solving as an essential component of the creative design process.

Peter has spent decades making road trips to attend concerts of obscure but brilliant rock bands. The road trips always include pilgrimages to visit equally brilliant architecture not recognized by mainstream historians.
