Cynthia Wirth

Cynthia Wirth serves as the Director of the Board of Directors for the Norristown Branch of the Montgomery County Public Library since January 2022 and is actively involved as a Norristown Area School Board Member as well as a candidate for the same board since March 2021. Wirth has a long-standing commitment to education and mentorship, holding various roles including Humane Educator/Reading Therapy Dog Partner with Page Canine Reading Coach, where outreach focuses on fostering a love for reading. Additionally, Wirth works as a coach and master coach for Academic & Individual Mentoring Services, LLC, providing support for students on the autism spectrum and those with ADD/ADHD/NLD. Previous teaching positions include substitute teacher and special education teacher in the Norristown Area School District, along with experience as an adjunct professor at Arcadia University. Wirth holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from Marygrove College and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Saint John's University, complemented by certifications in Secondary English and Special Education from Pennsylvania State University.
