Kristin M. Larsen, Ed.D., currently serves as the English Language Development Supervisor for the Norristown Area School District and has been a Board Vice President for the School District of Haverford Township since November 2017. Larsen has extensive experience in English language development and education, holding various positions including ELD Curriculum Specialist and Multilingual Manager for the School District of Philadelphia. Between 2015 and 2019, Larsen coordinated the ESOL Department and taught grades 5-8 at Folk Arts-Cultural Treasures Charter School. Larsen completed an Ed.D. in Reading, Writing, and Literacy from the University of Pennsylvania, with additional degrees in Multicultural/Multilingual Education and German Studies from George Mason University and Tufts University, respectively. Larsen has contributed as a co-developer and facilitator for professional development programs, and has worked in research and teaching roles at multiple educational institutions, including the University of Pennsylvania and George Mason University.
