Sonja Jäckel has a diverse work experience in the field of sales and account management. Sonja began their career at 360 public relations Munich as a PR Volontärin from September 2007 to October 2008. From there, they joined The North Face as a Sales Assistant from November 2008 to March 2010, and then as a Sales Representative Nordbayern from April 2010 to March 2014. Currently, they work at Norrøna Sport AS, where they started as an Account Manager Süddeutschland from April 2014 to April 2017, and currently holds the position of Key Account Manager since May 2017.

Sonja Jäckel earned their Master of Arts (M.A.) degree from The University of Bonn, where they studied Regionalwissenschaften Nordamerika (North American studies), Französisch (French), and Politik (Politics) from 2000 to 2007. Additionally, they completed an Auslandssemester (study abroad semester) at Central Michigan University from 2003 to 2004, focusing on Englisch (English), Journalism, and Business.
