Maria de Perlinghi

Partner | Chief Impact & Communications Officer at Norselab

Maria is a Partner and Chief Impact Officer at Norselab. She was part of the team that launched the firm’s impact investment platform in 2020. She has spearheaded the development of Norselab’s industry-leading impact philosophy and framework, “Meaningfulness,” and classifying the firm’s funds under SFDR Article 9. She has built Norselab’s impact competence and heads up the firm’s in-house impact team that works across all Norselab funds. She also serves on the board of Norselab's topco.

Maria serves on the board of NorNAB, the Norwegian National Advisory Board for Impact Investing, and was awarded “Personality of the Year” by Environmental Finance’s 2022 Impact Awards.

Maria has 15 years of experience in various leadership roles dealing with industry-related sustainability and communications issues, working with research institutes, NGOs, industry players, and government bodies. As an early joiner at Norselab, she has several years of experience supporting growth companies within her fields of expertise. She previously worked for the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Norwegian Seafood Council, where she was the Managing Director for France and part of Norway’s diplomatic corps. Maria has a Master’s in International Relations from the Institut d’Etudes Européennes in Paris.
