Ola Skjørli Oterhals

Ola Skjørli Oterhals has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Ola Skjørli started their career as a Teaching Assistant/Substitute Teacher at Oslo kommune from 2013 to 2015. Ola then worked as an Auditor Assistant at KPMG Norway from January to March 2016, gaining valuable insights into financial statements and balance sheets. Ola Skjørli continued to expand their financial knowledge by serving as a Summer Trainee at OBOS in 2016, where they worked in both the corporate finance department and OBOS-Banken.

Ola's experience in the banking sector continued with roles at OBOS-Banken as a Summer Associate in 2017, focusing on process improvement of financial reporting, and as an Associate in early 2018. Ola Skjørli then transitioned to Capgemini Invent, where they worked as a Consultant from August 2018 to January 2020. In this role, Ola was involved in various projects, including co-leading a finance team in the Netherlands and creating investment decks for clients.

In 2020, Ola joined Grundfond AS as the Chief Financial Officer, working to turnaround the company's financial situation and secure funding for further business development. Ola Skjørli then took on the role of Chief Executive Officer, overseeing day-to-day operations and making strategic decisions to position the company for growth.

Most recently, Ola held the position of Business Controller at NG Group, focusing on household collection and optimizing financial processes. Ola Skjørli also served as Økonomisjef at Norsk Gjenvinning m3, responsible for financial management and compliance.

Throughout their career, Ola has demonstrated strong financial acumen, problem-solving skills, and the ability to strategically position companies for growth.

Ola Skjørli Oterhals has a diverse education history. Ola Skjørli obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business and Economics from BI Norwegian Business School, where they studied from 2013 to 2016. During this time, they also attended the HKUST Business School as an exchange student in 2015, focusing on International Finance & Management. In 2014, Ola participated in a Summer School program at Fudan University, where they studied Chinese Politics & Culture.

Ola continued their education at BI Norwegian Business School and completed their Master's Degree in Business with a Major in Finance from 2016 to 2018. Ola Skjørli also pursued additional Master's Degrees in different institutions. In 2017, they studied Financial Markets at EDHEC Business School and Finance, General at FEP U. Porto – Economics and Management. Ola was also part of the QTEM program, earning a Master's Degree with a major in Finance.

In terms of certifications, Ola has Analyzing and Visualizing Data with Microsoft Power BI from Microsoft, obtained in August 2019, and Thomson Reuters Eikon - Version 4, obtained in April 2015.
