Pekka Eira

Pekka Eira is an accomplished IT executive with extensive experience in the recycling, waste management, and technology sectors. Currently serving as the Director of IT at NG Group since December 2024, Pekka previously held a similar role at Fortum from January 2009 to January 2025, where responsibilities included overseeing IT and Cyber Security Services, as well as IT M&A and divestments. Earlier positions at ABB Oy encompassed leading IT services across various departments, including R&D and manufacturing, while also managing mobile technology initiatives. Pekka's career began at EJ-Systems as Chairman of the Board, followed by pivotal roles at Sonepar Suomi Oy and ABB, focusing on IT infrastructure and solutions. Pekka holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology from JAMK University of Applied Sciences.
