Deeptaman Mukherjee

Deeptaman Mukherjee currently serves as the Head of Trading for Asia-Pacific in Bauxite & Alumina at Norsk Hydro, a position held since January 2024. Prior to this, Deeptaman worked at Adani Enterprises Limited from February 2022 to January 2024 in Commercial & Business Development for Bauxite at Kalinga Alumina Ltd and Institutional Sales for Coal. Deeptaman's extensive experience at Vedanta Group spanned from June 2009 to January 2022, where roles included Director of Commodities and Director of Bauxite & Alumina in the Group Commercial Organization, along with a progression of positions in Bauxite & Alumina, Commercial and Supply Chain, Sales & Planning. Deeptaman also held a summer internship at Panasonic in 2008. Academic qualifications include a PGDM in Marketing from Alliance Business School and a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Mechanical from Sagar Group of Institutions.
