Hilde Merete Aasheim is the current President & CEO at Norsk Hydro. Prior to this, they were the Executive Vice President for Primary Metal and Metal Markets at Norsk Hydro, as well as the Head of HR, HSE and CSR. Before their time at Norsk Hydro, Hilde Merete Aasheim worked as the Executive Vice President at Elkem Silicones from 1986 to 2005. Hilde began their career in 1982 as a financial auditor at Arthur Andersen & Co.

Hilde Merete Aasheim is a certified public accountant who has a master's degree in business administration and management from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH).
