Johanne Eide Joyce

Johanne Eide Joyce is currently serving as the Group Company Secretary at Norsk Hydro since February 2025. Previously, Johanne held the position of Energy Law Network Leader at JUC Norge from October 2022 to February 2025, where involvement included discussions among professionals in the legal sector on contemporary issues. Additionally, Johanne worked as a Senior Legal Counsel at Hydro REIN and Aker Horizons between 2021 and 2025. Prior legal experience spans several roles at Advokatfirmaet Lund & Co DA from March 2013 to April 2021, and positions as Tipstaff for justices in the New South Wales Supreme Court and Court of Appeal in 2011 and 2012. Earlier career work included consulting for the Norwegian Forum for Environment and Development and tutoring at the University of Bergen. Academic qualifications include an LLM in Human Rights and Social Justice from UNSW and a Master of Laws from the University of Bergen, supplemented by elective studies in law at the University of Copenhagen.
