Lars Lysbakken

Lars Lysbakken is an experienced energy portfolio manager at Norsk Hydro, a position held since January 2018. Previously, Lars served as a business controller and strategic sourcing analyst at Sapa from September 2013 to January 2018 and worked as a strategic sourcing analyst at Hydro Aluminium S.A from December 2012 to September 2013. Lars began the professional journey at Norsk Hydro, where roles included project manager and engineer from October 2004 to December 2012. Lars holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Engineering/Industrial Management from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), completed between 1999 and 2004, with additional studies undertaken at Technische Universität Darmstadt from 2002 to 2003.
