Maria Melfald Tveten

Maria Melfald Tveten has extensive experience in communication and public affairs, currently serving as the Head of Communication & Public Affairs for the Energy sector at Norsk Hydro since April 2018. Tveten's career includes various roles such as Communication Manager and Manager of Strategy & Planning at Norsk Hydro, and prior positions at Corporate Communications AS as Partner and Managing Partner. Tveten also served on the board of nLink AS and worked as a Communication Manager at Marine Harvest. Tveten co-founded Fourth Sector Norway and held advisory roles at Geelmuyden.Kiese. An early career includes journalism at Finansavisen and involvement in the Norwegian School of Economics' Executive Board. Tveten holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Strategy and Management from the Norwegian School of Economics, along with a graduate degree in Finance from Università Bocconi and foundational studies in Mathematics and Natural Sciences from the University of Bergen.
