Mathias Steffen

Mathias Steffen has extensive experience in the aluminium industry, currently serving as Director of Sales and Supply Chain at Norsk Hydro since February 2019, focusing on global sales of ultra high purity aluminium products primarily for the electronics sector in North America, Asia, and Europe. Previously, Mathias held the position of Director of Marketing and Sales at TRIMET Aluminium SE, where responsibilities included sales of aluminium ingots and strategic sales planning. Earlier roles included Director of Commodity Risk Management and various positions in sales and trading, where Mathias managed contracts, executed financial derivatives, and participated in M&A project teams. Mathias holds a Master's degree from Maastricht University and studied at Universidad de Salamanca.
